Calico is a revamp of the ‘70s style patchwork that was ubiquitous with a time of boots – a bold style with an antiqued spirit. Piece by piece, just like any other Lucchese boot, Calico starts in our leather room. Hand-sewn by a master fancy stitcher, each segment of leather is in an Overlock stitch pattern, creating an abstract zig-zag effect. Once all the sewing is complete, the finished result is astounding – a blanket of patchwork. The light pallet of bone crèmes, whiskey browns, and mallard blues unite for a look that is eclectic. Calico isn’t just vintage-inspired; she embodies true vintage. An almond-shaped 0 toe dualled with a 1 3⁄4-inch walking heel offer a sprinkle of contemporary appeal to an all-around vintage style.
